What is the meaning of life?  What is the point of faith?  Why even claim Christianity?

Sticks and Stones

What we say matters.  Words, whether thoughtfully or carelessly spoken, tell something about our hopes and expectations, or our convictions and fears.

For it has seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us…

“For it has seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us…” (Acts 15:28).  This week Pastor Glenn will be preaching from Acts 15:22-35.  How do we figure out how to move forward as a church when there are so many different opinions and perspectives?

The Lot

Dice in the Prayer Meeting: Casting Lots! Is the practice of casting lots a Mennonite tradition that can be redeemed or is it something that should be left in the past? This Week Pastor Glenn will be preaching from Acts 1:12-26.

This sermon explores the possibility of self-giving generosity in the face of overwhelming odds

In a world of bullies, loud voices and over the top leaders, this week's text seems quaint and out of touch.  Yet, this is the mystery of the Christian faith - it is what we perceive to be the small and insignificant that changes the world.

Who are you listening to?

This Sunday Pastor Glenn spoke from John 10:22-30.  To put it mildly, this is an interesting passage.  Jesus compares us to sheep, then goes on to talk about hearing, listening, and following.

The Vine

"I am the vine, you are the branches."  What exactly does this mean?

There are many delicious kinds of fruit.  Apples, kiwis, pears, mangos, pineapples, blueberries, and the list goes on.  Fruit trees seem to bear fruit almost effortlessly, unless the branch becomes disconnected from the tree.  We will explore the need for connectedness.

Risky Business

In this sermon Pastor Glenn draws our attention to stewardship, a careful and responsible approach to managing our time, talents and treasures. His thoughts are drawn from Jesus’ parable of the seeds in Luke 8:4-15.

Real Life

In John 20:19-31 we get a glimpse of life together and discover it is difficult, messy and transformative!

This week Pastor Glenn will speak from John 20:1-18.  In this story the impossible becomes possible - the irreversible just might be reversible.
